Deathwatch

Techically unimpressive, but an interesting story well-acted. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._

The world is believable, shot very well. The actors are also believable, even if they spend too much time shouting angrily for a horror movie. The overall experience that this movie left me with was a feeling of frustration. The emotional ‘ride’ seemed slow and awkward without any satisfying pay-off at the end. Not to be coarse, for me, investing ninety minutes in this story was all awkward foreplay without any satisfying release of tension. I’m happy that I watched it but would not watch it again nor would I recommend it to others.
